The three master planning & architecture projects for Al-Baha University housing colleges of arts and sciences. The masterplan key components of each site included the student administration and services, library, gymnasium and housing for a 4000 - 6000 student population dispersed between each campus with a total built up area per site of 60,000 sqm each. Each site has a unique geographical setting, reflecting Al-Baha’s mountainous region. The design establishes a set of prototypes, carefully adapted in master planning relationships, environment systems, and site terrain, taking clues from the natural setting and cultural folklore to create a contemporary academic facility sensitive to its environment.
